New Belgium Lips of Faith Le Terroir

Recommended by: Liz Jackel, Wichita chapter Beauties and the Beers

Price: $13.99 for a six-pack

Tastes like: “Tart fruit and stone fruit. Think grapefruit and other citrusy fruits with a zing plus a bit of peachiness. Bright and effervescent with a balanced, fruity hoppiness.”

Pairs well with: Mild soft cheeses and milder cured meats like soppressata

Comments: “Everyone loves New Belgium’s La Folie (including me) but I’m an even bigger fan of its counterpart, Le Terroir. This is a very balanced sour that’s approachable for newbies to mouth-puckering beers. Le Terroir is so fruity and sparkly, very reminiscent of wine, it would also be a good segue to beer for wine drinkers. Being part of New Belgium’s Lips of Faith series, Le Terroir has a limited release and has already been out for several weeks. Once it’s gone, it won’t be back until next year.”
