Kroger, the supermarket chain with stores primarily in the Midwest and the South, is helping customers celebrate the season by giving away 100,000 free pints of ice cream this month. That's right-free ice cream. And if there was ever a time to embrace the joy of a cold, creamy treat, it's during those first glorious weeks of summer when every scoop feels like a little victory over the heat.
At the same time, the grocery chain introduced three limited-time ice cream flavors for summer: Seventh Inning Swirl, Sweet as Cherry Pie and Banana Split Social.

How Can You Get Free Ice Cream From Kroger?
On Friday, June 19, you need to head over to FreeKrogerIceCream.com to download a limited-time, single-use digital coupon, starting at noon ET, while supplies last. It's good for one free pint of Kroger brand ice cream, including the new seasonal flavors. You'll have until Friday, July 3, to redeem it.
While 100,000 coupons are available, they're bound to go quickly, so set a reminder on your phone for Friday, June 19, at noon ET. No one wants to miss out on free ice cream if they can help it.
Is the Offer Available at All of Kroger's Family of Stores?
Not exactly. While you can use the deal at most Kroger affiliates, the offer isn't available at Quality Food Centers locations. On top of that, it isn't valid in the following states: California, Colorado, Louisiana, Tennessee or Nevada.
