Sonic Is Making ‘Big Deal' Changes to Its Menu This June
Sonic is re-evaluating its menu with two major overhauls.
Recent data shows that customers don't just want tasty bites from fast-food chains; they're looking for compelling deals and meaningful value, leaving consumers with promotions like Wendy's Biggie Meal Deals, high-profile menu collaborations at McDonald's, a new Luxe Value menu at Taco Bell, a revised loyalty program at Jimmy John's, and Sonic's first-ever dedicated rewards program.
Now, just weeks after the iconic drive-in chain announced it would offer its first rewards program, earning customers freebies and other exclusive perks, it's expanding its loyalty to all guests-regardless of whether they're rewards members-and introducing a new $7 Meal Deal and refreshing its value-oriented $1.99 Menu. Because at Sonic, "value shouldn't mean sacrificing flavor."
Sonic Introduces New $7 Meal Deal and Refreshed $1.99 Menu
Sonic touts its $7 Big Deal Meal as a craveable combo bringing together fan-favorite items into one "satisfying, easy choice." It includes:
- A cheeseburger
- Small Chicken Bites
- A medium soft drink or iced tea
- Choice of medium tater tots or fries

And come July 1, Sonic fans will have another option to enjoy: the Garlic Parmesan Ranch Crispy Tender Wrap.
When is Sonic Launching the New $7 Big Deal Meal and Updated $1.99 Menu?
Both Sonic's $7 Big Deal meal and revised $1.99 menu are available now at participating locations nationwide-but only for a limited time.
