Here are the U.S. Postal Service’s suggested ship-by dates for customers who want their letters and packages delivered by Christmas Day. Recommended holiday shipping dates for types of domestic and military mail that are not listed have passed.

First-class mail, Dec. 20

Priority mail, Dec. 21

Destination delivery unit drop shop, Dec. 21

Priority mail express, Dec. 23
