Finalists for Chamber’s Small Business of the Year Award
Whether you’re talking about the big ideas of Ben Franklin or the behemoth fortune of Bill Gates, you’re talking about roots first established in small business.
Throughout the country, and especially in the Wichita area, small businesses are where the seeds of tomorrow’s economy are sown and grown. No doubt a current small startup will develop into the next Microsoft. Some invention still on the drawing board will become as common as Franklin’s bifocal eyeglasses.
The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce’s annual Small Business of the Year Award celebrates the contributions of small businesses and honors two companies with top honors.
Today, we introduce the 10 finalists in the two divisions. Tier 1 includes five companies that have 25 or fewer employees. Tier 2 includes five companies with 26 to 100 employees.
The winner in each tier will be announced at a luncheon May 1.
