Jennifer Aniston Reacts After Ex Justin Theroux Welcomes His 1st Baby

Jennifer Aniston subtly offered her congratulations to ex-husband Justin Theroux and his wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, after they welcomed their first baby.

"He's here 🕊️We are so in love," Theroux, 54, and Bloom, 32, captioned a joint Instagram post on Saturday, April 18, alongside a snap of the actor holding his newborn son.

Aniston, 57, "liked" the post, alongside other celebrity pals Beanie Feldstein, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and Jonathan Van Ness.

Aniston, for her part, was married to Theroux from 2015 to 2018.

"In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year," Aniston and Theroux wrote in a joint statement in 2018. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."

In the years since their divorce, Aniston and the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor have remained friendly.

"There's something to, once you're out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in," Theroux told Esquire in 2023 of his status with Aniston. "I'm not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen - I don't talk about Jen. People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance."

He continued at the time, "Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship. Me saying anything, even if it was something loving, it would just turn into a thing. So, it's a classic no-comment situation for me."

Theroux moved on with Paradise and Gilded Age actress Bloom in 2023. They tied the knot two years later in March 2025.

"We wanted a destination that felt private, romantic, and very relaxed," Bloom told Vogue of their ceremony in Mexico. "The best part? We had a full moon for the entire weekend. It rose directly behind us on the beach on Thursday and felt very full circle from the proposal to now."

As for Theroux, he called the nuptials "wonderful."

"Ceremonies with vows are about the words contained within them," he noted to the outlet. "And they are better left undescribed here. That being said, the officiant said some wonderful things, and my wife was just… well, incredibly touching. I was very moved."

Aniston, meanwhile, has since found love with Jim Curtis.
