Macey Hensley from Council Grove, Kan., is about to become a star, thanks to a segment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where she wows everyone with her knowledge about American presidents.

The show aired on Monday, Presidents Day.

Macey was quite the charmer, so self-assured and confident sitting in a chair across from DeGeneres and skillfully rattling off trivia about the presidents like a college scholar.

It certainly didn’t hurt that tiny little Macey is one of the most adorable little girls we’ve ever seen.

In the clip that the show posted online on Friday, Macey correctly identifies a photo of President John Quincy Adams, names his wife, his vice president and shares this little bit of trivia about him: “He swam naked in the Potomac!”

In December, Macey visited the eighth-grade classes at Council Grove Middle School dressed as George Washington, powdered wig and all, and “wowed” everyone with her presentation, according to the school’s Facebook page.

She’s used to appearing in front of crowds. Last fall, she was a “little helper” for Council Grove High School’s homecoming, wearing a tiara and her cowboy boots.

When DeGeneres asks Macey why she’d like to be president someday, Macey cuts to the chase: “So I can eat all the candy I want.”

She can count on our vote.
