Here's how to get $5 movie tickets to Wichita's new AMC Northrock 14
Wichita's new 14-screen AMC movie theater has been open for nearly a month now, and if you haven't checked it out, Tuesdays may be good days to do so.
Every Tuesday, tickets to all movies are just $5 each, excluding the "upcharges" for special events and "premium" format movies.
While $5 Ticket Tuesday used to be a limited-time promotion at AMC Theaters, the movie deal is now here to stay, according to the AMC website. The tickets can be purchased at the theater, online or through the AMC app.
But there's a catch.
To get the deal, you must enroll in the AMC Stubs membership program. This program is free to enroll in, and it includes other promos such as a free refill on large popcorn purchases.
To sign up, visit www.amctheatres.com/amcstubs. You will be asked for your email, your first and last name, your birth date (for a free large popcorn on your birthday) and a password.
If you do not want to enroll but still would like $5 movie tickets, you can purchase $5 standard movie tickets to Wichita's AMC theater for movies playing before noon any day of the week.
AMC theaters also offer $5 Cameo Combos on Tuesdays, which include a snackable popcorn and drink. To get this deal, though, you will have to upgrade your free AMC Stubs membership to an AMC Stubs Premiere account.
AMC Stubs Premiere is $15 per year. It also includes a free popcorn and drink size upgrade every time you visit, waived online ticketing fees and other promotions.
An employee with Wichita's AMC Northrock 14 confirmed that the theater accepts both $5 Tuesday deals.
Standard adult ticket prices at the theater normally range from $4.49 before noon to just under $10 in the evenings.
