The Kansas State Fair has always had eclectic musical taste.

It likes modern country as much as classic country. Pop as much as classic rock. And it never says no to a good Christian act, either.

This year, the fair has once again has covered all its musical bases, offering a lineup that will span nearly every night of the annual party in Hutchinson, which opens on Friday and runs through Sept. 17.

So far, Grandstand ticket buyers are responding with enthusiasm, and the best selling concert so far is Christian rocker Toby Mac followed by country crooner Josh Turner then “Devil Went Down to Georgia” fiddler Charlie Daniels.
