Riverfest will not have paddleboats Friday because of the swiftness of the Arkansas River current. But people can get out on the water on the Wagonmasters River Tours, free with a Riverfest button.

The river tours will set out daily on the Waterwagon pontoon boat under the Douglas Avenue Bridge. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 4 and 5, and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 11, setting out from Ackerman’s Backyard, just south of the Douglas Avenue Bridge.

Festival officials have said that decisions about non-motorized watercraft during the fest will be made each day.
