Discounted Wichita Riverfest buttons on sale now, but the price goes up next month
Today’s the day that Wichita Riverfest buttons go on sale at their “early-bird” price of $7 for adults and $3 for children.
The festival staff is putting on a button sale launch party at 4 p.m. today at Meineke Car Care Center, 925 E. Central. The public is welcome, and it will include remarks by Mayor Jeff Longwell, an appearance by Admiral Windwagon Smith and treats.
Buttons will be available for $7 for adults ages 13 and up and $3 for children ages 6-12 until May 5 at Meinecke Car Care locations in Wichita, Hutchinson and Derby or online at wichitafestivals.ticketspice.com (though the online options includes a $2 service fee for adult buttons and a $1.50 fee for child buttons.)
Full-price buttons go on sale at QuikTrip stores, the Wichita Festivals office at 444 E. William and at wichitafestivals.ticketspice.com beginning May 6. They’ll cost $10 and $5.
The festival is scheduled for May 31 through June 8 in downtown Wichita and will include food, fun and live music. The button serves as admission to all concerts and most events.
