Mumbai Rail Indian Bistro, the new fast-service Indian restaurant in the Union Station project downtown, will reopen on Tuesday, said owner Neil Bhakta.
The restaurant, which is old Rock Island Depot building at 701 E. Douglas, originally opened on April 29 only to close two days later. At the time, Bhakta said he and his staff needed to reevaluate their processes and train the staff more.
Bhakta said the restaurant has since added additional refrigeration, shelving, staff and inventory.
“I would like to apologize for the inconvenience to our guests but we should be on better footing moving forward,” he said.
