A former Wichita cook is moving back to town, and when he arrives, Wichita will get a new taco restaurant and another new food truck.
Gaga’s Grub founder Dustin Presley announced today that he is moving his entire business operation – and himself – from Perry, Okla., where he lives now, to Wichita. And he plans to open a small restaurant called Gaga’s Grub Lil Taco Joint/Carryout at 1227 S. Seneca. That building was formerly home to other restaurants like Da’ Lil Cajun Shak and Taco Nacho.
He’ll also bring with him his Gaga’s Grub food truck, from which he sells pasta and tacos. He’ll operate that here, too.
In early March, Presley leased another food truck he owns to his friend Vic Ramos, who’s been running it as Gaga’s Grub Wichita. Ramos, who serves tacos, will continue to operate, too.

Presley worked years ago at Scott Redler’s Timberline restaurant before he moved to Perry to be closer to family. While in Oklahoma, he opened a catering company and acquired both food trucks.
But now, he and his wife are ready to move back to Wichita, he said.
The brick-and-mortar restaurant will likely be open Mondays through Fridays for lunch service only. The tiny building has only about eight seats, so the restaurant will be mostly carryout. He hopes to have it open by June.
During the evenings and on weekends, Presley will be out with the original Gaga’s Grub truck. He’ll also will offer catering and private in-house dinners.
Stay tuned for more updates Presley’s relocation.
