Wichita’s Sunday brunch scene has two new players.
Both Siena Tuscan Steakhouse, the upscale restaurant inside the Ambassador Hotel at 104 S. Broadway, and Jerseys Grill and Bar, the sports bar at 3213 N. Toben have recently added Sunday brunches.
Jeremy Wade, Siena’s executive chef, describes a lavish layout for his brunch buffet, which includes items like smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, arugula beet salad, pastries and muffins, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, roast beef, lasagna, tiramisu and creme brulee. In addition, each customer can order a la carte items made fresh in the kitchen – a made-to-order omelet, brioche Bavarian creme-filled French toast or Tuscan eggs Benedict. Those dishes are included in the price of the buffet.
It’s served each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the price is $20 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under. Wade advises brunchers make reservations. Call 316-440-5300.
