Wichita’s first Wingstop opened today

As promised, Wingstop opened its first Wichita store today at 7325 W. Taft., just a few doors down from the new west side Twin Peaks.

Steve Davis is the franchisee of the store, part of a Dallas-based chain specializing in chicken wings, chicken tenders and fresh-cut fries,

The wings, which are served traditional bone-in or boneless, are made fresh to order. Sauce flavors include classic Buffalo, atomic, mango habanero, Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, hickory smoked, lemon pepper, and teriyaki.

The space has about 40 as well as two big television sets and has16 types of bottled beer.

Davis also is in the process of looking for an east-side spot.
