Tastes like: “A bright and crisp nose with aromas of fresh melon and fig with a touch of green grass. The palate is also crisp and this wine has a rich mouth feel and bright acidity. Apple and quince dominate the lingering finish.”

Pairs well with: “Fresh seafood. You can cook it any way you like it, but I think for this wine what would work best is fish tacos. Crispy fried fillets with some cabbage and a spicy sauce in a tortilla would make this wine sing.”

Comments: “The Mauritson family has been grape growers for generations. They own a large portion of the Rockpile American Viticultural Area and produce some amazing wines from there including a couple of great Zinfandels. This Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and crisp but with a little body and rich mouth feel. A great wine to enjoy outside.”
