Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees select location for first store

Back in August, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees Douglas Day and his son Dan Day announced plans to develop seven stores in Wichita and two others in surrounding cities.

They recently selected their first location: the old Taco Bueno building at 333 S. West St. Construction is underway, Dan Day said, and the first store should be ready to go by mid-December.

The franchisees will conduct interviews on Nov. 22, he said. The father-son duo also are looking at a couple of east-side locations and will announce them when the deals are official.
