2013 Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
2013 Errazuriz Max Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
Recommended by: Drew Hendricks, master sommelier, vice president wine divisions, Standard Beverage
Price: $19.99
Tastes like: “Aromas of black cherry and intense raspberry preserves on the nose. There is a spice on the nose of black pepper and Chinese five spice powder. The palate is rich and supple and has dense cassis flavors and a hint of dried herbs. The finish has supple tannin and bright acidity.”
Pairs well with: “Steak. This Cabernet will work well with any steak. The bright acid and dense tannin structure helps it work with rib eye or filet, your choice.”
Comments: “Errazuriz was founded in 1870 and is one of the oldest Chilean wineries. Founded by Don Maximiano Errazuriz, a native Chilean, this winery has a storied history and produces great wines. Errazuriz sourced its original vines from France in the late 1800’s and has been called one of the best in Chile.”
