Wichita Chef Jason Febres will be back on television on Sept. 3, and he has a limited number of seats left at one of two viewing parties he’s putting on at his restaurants.
Febres will appear on the season finale of NBC’s cooking competition series “Food Fighters,” a show that’s been airing all summer and pits a home cook and his or her signature dish against professional chefs preparing the same dish. Febres will be one of those professional chefs.
He already has sold out a party at his Taste and See restaurant at 255 N. Washington. But he still has openings at his other business, Gianni Bacci’s, which sits across the street. For $30, attendees will have access to a tapas buffet that will include the recipe Febres prepares on the show. Febres will travel between parties.
The show airs at 7 p.m. on NBC, Channel 3. The parties start at 5 p.m. Those interested in attending can buy a ticket over the phone by calling 316-613-3350.
