Lots of Wichita restaurants are offering discounts, freebies for Veterans Day 2025

Veterans Day is on Tuesday, and as usual, lots of Wichita restaurants are offering free meals or food discounts to those who serve or have served in the military.

Here is a verified list of deals and specials that will be offered in Wichita on Tuesday. Keep in mind that all the specials require a military ID, and most are offered to active duty and retired military members. Many restaurants also invite first responders to partake.

All deals listed are available on Tuesday, Nov. 11, unless otherwise noted.

Andy’s Frozen Custard, several Wichita locations: Free regular-sized, one-topping sundae from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Applebee’s, many Wichita locations: Free entree from a special menu plus a $5 card good toward a future meal.

Arby’s, several Wichita locations: Free classic roast beef sandwich. Must be redeemed in store.

The Barn, 307 W. Dean St., Burrton: Free meal plus a non-alcoholic drink.

BJ’s Brewhouse, 7960 E. Kellogg: Free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie for dine-in only plus a coupon for free appetizer with minimum food purchase, valid for dine-in only from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31.

Bluehook Cajun Seafood & Bar, 2244 N. Webb Road: Free appetizer up to a $10 value.

Bob & Luigi’s, 325 W. Central, Andover: 15% off

Bricktown Brewery, 2142 N. Tyler, 2035 N. Rock Road: Free meal from select menu.

Bronx Pizza & Pints, 2140 W. 21st St.: Free slice of pizza

Bubba’s 33, 412 S. Towne East Mall Drive: Free entree from special menu plus soft drink, tea or coffee from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who can’t dine in person can pick up a rain check voucher from 9 a.m. to noon that’s good through May 31.

Carrabba’s, 3409 N. Rock Road: Free dine-in appetizer or dessert on Monday and Tuesday.

Cheddar’s, 535 S. Ridge Road, 11711 E. 13th St.: Free appetizer or dessert.

Chick-fil-A, several Wichita-area locations: Free Chick-fil-A sandwich

Chili’s, several Wichita locations: Free dine-in meal from special menu. Choices include Oldtimer burger with cheese and fries, chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, three-count chicken crispers and a chili or soup with side salad

Cici’s Pizza, 8320 W. Central: Free buffet. Dine-in only

Dave & Buster’s, 2544 Greenwich Court: Free entree plus a $10 Power Card

Denny’s, 4024 E. Harry: Free Grand Slam breakfast offered from 5 a.m. to noon for dine-in only​

Dillons, many Wichita locations: 10% off total in-store purchase on food and household items with loyalty card and military ID

The Easy Egg, 5700 W Kellogg Drive, 3130 N. Rock Road, 3520 N. Maize Road: Free Easy Egg combo with eggs, hash browns, bacon, pancakes or toast or a ham-and-cheese omelet.

First Mile Kitchen, 2141 N. Bradley Fair Parkway: This fine-dining restaurant offers veterans 10% off every day it’s open.

Fizz Burgers & Bottles, 7718 E. 27th St. North: 20% off for dine-in.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, several Wichita locations: Card good for one free combo meal through Dec. 31.

Firebird’s Wood Fired Grill, 10096 E. 13th St.: Free meal for veterans

IHOP, several Wichita locations: Free red, white and blueberry pancake combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine-in only.

Jimmie’s Diner, 3111 N. Rock Road, 1519 George Washington Blvd.: 25% off meals for those in uniform, 10% off meals for those with military ID and a dependent

JJ Beard’s Pub & Pizza, 3827 W. 13th St.: 20% off bill

Livingston’s Diner, 9747 E. 21st St.: 30% off bill and a free slice of pie

N&J, 5600 E. Lincoln, 8448 W. Central: Free sandwich and sides

Panera, several Wichita locations: Free pastry or bakery item and cup of coffee. Not valid with rapid pick-up, delivery or online ordering.

Paradise Donuts, 10607 Maple St., 612 E. Douglas: Free traditional doughnut and free small coffee

Parlor Doughnuts, 7010 W. 21st St.: Free 12-ounce brewed coffee and layered doughnut.

Pizza Ranch, 2121 N. Tyler: One free adult buffet

Raising Cane’s, 350 S. Ridge Road: Active or nonactive military members, fire and police department officers and EMTs and their families get 10% off their entire purchase. The offer is available for dine-in and drive-thru orders but not for mobile or online orders or for catering or kiosk purchases.

Red Robin, 9990 E. 13th St., 7355 W. Taft: Free Red’s Big Tavern Burger and fries for dine-in only

Starbucks, several Wichita locations: Free tall brewed coffee, hot or iced, for veterans and military spouses

Texas Roadhouse west, 6707 W. Kellogg: The restaurants will be passing out meal vouchers from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. that can be used for a future visit, or they’re giving out a free meal for dine-in customers from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse east, 2526 N. Greenwich: The restaurants will be passing out meal vouchers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that can be used for a future visit, or they’re giving out a free meal for dine-in customers starting at 2 p.m.

Twin Peaks, 8310 E. 21st St., 7325 W. Taft: Free lunch from select menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Village Inn, 7020 W. Central, 1685 S. Rock Road, 3535 S. Meridian, 1200 N. Rock Road, Derby: Free 2-2-2 breakfast featuring two eggs, two link sausages or two strips of bacon, and two pancakes. Beverage included. Offer is good from 6 a.m. until close.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, 2661 N. Maize Road: Free Scholarship burger. Dine-in only.
