A new-to-Wichita drive-through coffee chain will open on the northwest side
Another drive-through coffee chain is coming to Wichita, and it should be open by the end of the year.
Wichita Lawn Care owner Adam Frey, who with a partner opened his first Ziggi’s Coffee in Rose Hill late last year, says construction should start at 8669 W. 29th St. North in the next 30 to 60 days. Construction should take about 100 days, meaning that the shop should be open around October or November.
Ziggi’s Coffee is a Colorado-based chain that was founded in 2004 and now has more than 100 locations across the country. It’s known for its iced coffee drinks, energy drinks and dirty sodas and offers a food menu that features breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and baked goods.
The shops are drive-through only, though most have outdoor seating.
Frey said he hopes to open other Ziggi’s shops in the Wichita area but has no firm plans yet.
Stephanie Wise of Commercial Collective handled the deal.
