Easter Sunday brunch will be hopping in Wichita this year. Here’s a guide to where to go
You have your nice Easter church clothes on anyway. You might as well head out for a fancy Easter Sunday brunch. Following, you will find a list of Wichita restaurants offering brunch buffets or special meals this weekend. But it’s kind of last-minute, so if you haven’t made your reservation yet, call today.
Easter Sunday
6S Steakhouse, 6200 W. 21st St., 316-361-6667: Serving an Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Price is $40 for adults, $18 for children under 12. Call for reservations.
AVI Seabar & Chophouse and Corporate Caterers, 135 N. Waco (next to Drury Plaza Broadview Hotel): Serving Easter dinner family-style from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meals will include 8 oz. servings of prime rib and bone-in smoked ham plus creamed potatoes, grilled basil cream corn, sauteed green beans, salad, rolls and cake. The Belmont, 3555 E. Douglas: Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and offering happy hour all day. Brunch is mostly booked, but there are openings in the evening. Call for reservations for parties of six or more.
Bronx Pizza & Pints, 2140 W. 21st St., 316-239-6022: Open on Easter Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and serving breakfast pizza with choice of sausage or bacon.
Chicken N’ Pickle, 1240 N. Greenwich, 316-595-7150: This restaurant and pickleball venue’s Hop, Hunt & Brunch includes a buffet-style brunch that will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. It’s $20.99 for adults and $9.99 for children.
Chisholm’s inside the Doubletree by Hilton Wichita Airport, 2098 Airport Road, 316-945-1966: Offering an Easter brunch buffet that includes grilled Atlantic salmon, 40-clove garlic chicken, and chili-and-coffee flank steak plus a carving station with bourbon-glazed ham and smoked prime. First Mile Kitchen, 2141 N. Bradley Fair Parkway, 316-358-0130: Offering several Easter brunch specials from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, including a waffle croque madame, poached eggs Florentine and a lobster-and-crab Benedict. Call for reservations.
Grace Hill Winery, 6310 S Grace Hill Road, Whitewater: Mi Sueno Enterprises will be putting on this brunch buffet at Grace Hill from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will include things like carrot cake pancakes, lemon dill salmon and citrus and fennel salad. Hyatt Regency Wichita, 400 W. Waterman, 316-613-6400.: This hotel’s Easter brunch is completely sold out.
Jimmie’s Diner, 3111 N. Rock Road: George Washington location is still closed after a fire, but Rock Road will be open at 6 a.m. on Easter Sunday and will serve eggs Benedict, ham steak and eggs, and the full menu.
Larcher’s Market, 3555 E. Douglas, 316-682-5575: Open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and serving all-day breakfast plus lunch and dinner dishes. No reservations accepted
La Vela Venue, 6147 E. 13th St., 316-684-7281: This venue, which is right next door to the Candle Club, is serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will include shrimp cocktail, prime rib, smoked salmon, desserts and $6 mimosas and bloody marys. It’s $40 for adults, half price for children 10 and under. Call for reservations.
Magnolia Cafe, 2424 N. Woodlawn, 316-260-1356: Easter Sunday buffet includes lunch and breakfast items and is $31.99 for adults, $14.99 for children 10 and under. Reservations are in 1.5-hour increments and are available at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. Call for reservations.

YaYa’s Eurobistro, 8115 E. 21st St., 316-634-1000: This brunch buffet is almost booked but still has openings at 2:30 p.m. for smaller groups. Its buffet is $45 for adults, $20 for ages 6-12. Call for reservations.
Happening on Saturday
54 Craft & Co., 549 S. Rock Road: This new restaurant in the Holiday Inn Wichita East is putting on a family-friendly egg hunt from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The event also will include hot dogs on the grill and cookie decorating. Kids are encouraged to bring Easter baskets.

The Easter Bunny will arrive at 10 a.m., then an egg hunt starts at noon. The brunch is $17.99 for adults, $10.99 for children 2-12.
