It’s a new year, and many Wichita restaurants are reevaluating their business hours.

Several have announced changes of late — some adding days, some subtracting days, some just adjusting how late or how early they open.

Here’s a list of some of the latest adjustments you should be aware of:

Jimmie’s Diner, 3111 N. Rock Road: Two and a half years ago, the owners of this east-side restaurant started closing on Tuesdays because of post-pandemic staffing issues. But soon, they’ll be back to seven days a week. Starting on Monday, Jan. 15, the Rock Road restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Doo-Dah Diner, 206 E. Kellogg: 206 E. Kellogg: Doo-Dah’s owners announced this week that they were dropping Tuesdays for the winter and would reevaluate in the spring. (Doo-Dah was already closed on Mondays.) The restaurant’s new hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.

Fusion, 9506 W. Central: This restaurant announced in December that, “due to the downward trend of dine in customers at our new location,” it would be changing its hours so it could focus more on catering. It’s now open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.
