Dutch Bros Coffee is expanding its Wichita presence again, and soon, it’ll open its first drive-through store on the city’s south side.

The Oregon-based chain, which already has three Wichita stores as well as one in Derby, is adding another at 4823 S. Washington, which is next door to the Verizon store in the Southfork Development, 47th Street South and I-135.

Construction on the building is pretty far along, and people who drive past have been noticing that it sports the chain’s signature gray and blue color pattern. Planning records with the city show that Dutch Bros is indeed opening there, and Ted Branson of Landmark Commercial Real Estate, who handled the deal with Landmark CEO and founder Brad Saville, confirmed it. The address is also now listed on the Dutch Bros website.

The first Wichita Dutch Bros. opened in July 2022 at 2860 N. Maize Road and was followed by a second at 605 S. West St., which opened in November 2022. Another opened in July at 2610 N. Greenwich, and there’s also a Dutch Bros at 2619 N. Rock Road in Derby, and one is under construction in Andover as well.

I’ve reached out to Dutch Bros about an opening date and will update this story when I hear back.
