The fourth Wichita-area location of this national restaurant chain opens this week
One of the several new restaurants headed for Wichita State University’s Braeburn Square development is about to open.
Sub shop chain Jersey Mike’s will open the doors to its Braeburn Square restaurant on Wednesday. The shop, which is on the Wichita State University Innovation Campus at 4521 E. 21st St., will be the fourth for the greater Wichita area and will be right next door to the Pedego electric bike shop.
This Jersey Mike’s is owned by franchisees Annette and Ryan Hennes. The others in the area — at 2564 N Greenwich and 2616 N. Maize Road in Wichita and at 1918 N. Rock Road in Derby — are owned by Chris Stong.
The restaurant will have 20 seats inside and also will have seating on a patio out back that overlooks the development’s small lake.
The store’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m daily. Customers can place orders in-store or for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike’s app. Delivery also is available through the app or through third-party delivery businesses.
Jersey MIke’s specializes in hot subs, cold subs and wraps. Jersey Mike’s is known for a topping called “the juice,” which is a zingy mixture of olive oil and red wine vinegar.
