Amber Waves event invites people to enjoy food, adult beverages throughout historic Delano
The annual Amber Waves event, which invites participants to stroll from business to business in the Historic Delano District on West Douglas sampling beer, wine and food, will put on its 2023 installment on Friday. And this year’s event will be bigger than ever.
The walking route will have 15 stops, which is the most since the first Amber Waves in 2014. Participants also will see four live musicians playing along the route and be able to sample food from 14 local food vendors.
They’ll also have the opportunity to sample 17 different beers and seltzers, eight canned mixed cocktails and five wines.
Among the stops on this year’s route: Hatman Jack’s, Bungalow 26, Vortex Souvenir and What’s Brewin’. Food vendors include Bakesale Treat Parlor, Carrabba’s, the Monarch, Station 8 BBQ and more. See a full list of participants below.
The event, a benefit for Starkey, lasts from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are still available at AmberWavesICT.com and cost $75 for general admission tickets or $90 for tickets that allow early entry at 6 p.m. and access to a special Brewmaster Lounge at All Things BBQ.
Amber Waves will happen rain or shine.
