Scooter’s plans another Wichita-area kiosk, this one to open in the fall
Scooter’s franchisee Mackenzie Burnett just keeps adding stores, and now, she’s sharing the address for her next one.
Burnett, who in mid-July opened her seventh area Scooter’s at 20201 W. Kellogg in Goddard, has just broken ground on another drive-through coffee kiosk at 3920 N. Maize Road in Maize. The shop, which sits a bit north of the Barn’rds restaurant that opened two years ago at 3860 N. Maize Road, will also be a single-sided drive-through model, and Burnett is targeting a November opening date.
In the meantime, she’s celebrating the recent opening of the Goddard store with a Grand Opening event on Friday. From 5:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., people will be able to get half-price drinks when they pay or scan with the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app, found at www.scooterscoffee.com/mobileapp
Burnett also owns the Scooter’s locations at 1468 S. Maize Road, 259 S. West, 3123 N. Rock Road, 7399 W. Central and 3480 N. Ridge Road. She also has a Scooter’s in El Dorado.
