Facebook (falsely) says this restaurant is closed, and the timing couldn’t be worse
Don’t believe everything you see on Facebook — especially if you see that Molino’s Mexican Cuisine at 1064 N. Waco is closed on National Margarita Day.
Owner Mario Quiroz says that something has gone haywire with the restaurant’s Facebook page, which now lists the business as “Temporarily Closed.”
In fact, it is fully open and celebrating National Margarita Day with $1.49 house margaritas and buy-one-get-one deals on pork belly bites and on queso dip. The hours today are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Quiroz said he’s in the process of trying to regain control of his page, though unsurprisingly, it hasn’t been easy.
Several restaurants across Wichita are celebrating National Margarita Day, which this year conveniently lands on Taco Tuesday as well. Among the many Wichita restaurants offering deals on margaritas today: The Easy Egg, Spangles, Chicken N Pickles, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Connie’s Mexico Cafe, Chico’s, Tacos tj 664 and Margarita’s Cantina.
