Dozens of Wichita restaurants closed on Wednesday, though some are braving the elements
Wichita restaurants are taking a snow day, too.
It might be harder on Wednesday to find an open restaurant than a closed one. Below is a long list of places that have announced they’ll stay closed because of weather.
That said, many are braving the elements and remain open. Among them, places like La Galette, Jimmie’s Diner, The Easy Egg, Doo-Dah Diner, Mulligan’s, Sazon Mexican Restaurant, B&C Barbecue, Hurricane Sports Grill, El Mexico Cafe, Tacos tj 664 and more. Emerson Biggin’s West is not only open but it’s trying to lure teachers on snow day in with half-price drinks.
Also open: Walt’s East, Goyo’s Mexican Fast Food, Side Pockets, Ziggy’s Pizza West, Los Cunados, Crutch & Biscuit, Delano’s Diner, Rice & Roll by Xing Xing, Oasis Lounge, Meddys, Pizza Ranch, Dudley’s, Angela’s Cafe and Bionic Burger. The Monarch is open until 4 p.m.
The best advice is to call ahead to wherever you’re planning on dining.

Fusion Restaurant: Closed on Wednesday
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, 4521 E. 21st St.: The WSU location of this restaurant will be closed on Wednesday but the one on Rock Road will be open.
Gabby’s Peruvian Cuisine: Closed on Wednesday
