A list of Wichita restaurants reopening for dine-in — and some that will wait
Kansas will allow restaurant to reopen with limitations starting on Monday, and many are planning to do so. Over the weekend, a long list announced plans to welcome diners back in their restaurants. Some have been closed for weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, several favorites have decided to wait for a few more weeks.

Abuelo’s: Wichita restaurants reopening for dine-in on Thursday, May 7, with limited seating.
Alejandro’s Fast Mexican Food, 2110 N. Maize Road: Open for limited dine-in starting Monday, June 1.
Albero Cafe, 4811 E. Central: Opening for dine-in on Monday, May 11.
The Angry Elephant, 756 N. Tyler: Reopening for dine-in on Tuesday, May 5. Carryout still available.
Antojitos Guanamex, 1425 E Central: Reopening for regular dine-in hours on Thursday, May 7, with limited seating.
Applebee’s: Wichita restaurants are staggering their return to dine-in service. South Broadway, Park City, Derby, Ridge Road and New Market Square will reopen at 11 a.m. Tuesday for limited dine-in. Carside and delivery are still available.
The Artichoke Sandwichbar, 811 N. Broadway: This favorite downtown restaurant and bar reopens the dining room on June 8.
Augustino Brewing, 756 N. Tyler: Reopening Monday, May 4. Hours will be 3-8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 3-8 p.m. Sunday.
AVI Seabar and Chophouse, 135 N. Waco: Open for dine-in with limited seating.
Avivo Brick Oven Pizzeria: Reopen for dine-in.
B&C Barbeque, 355 N. Washington: Reopen for dine-in with buffet.
Bagatelle, 6801 E. Harry: Open for dine-in with very limited seating.
Barn’rds, 2037 N. Woodlawn: Will keep dining room closed until May 18 but continuing with carryout.
