No more all-day breakfast, salad at McDonald’s until this is all over, Wichita owners say
Now, the coronavirus is taking away the people’s right to have Egg McMuffins for dinner.
On Wednesday afternoon, Wichita’s Lane Enterprises — which owns most of the McDonald’s in the area — shared on social media that it would be limiting its menu effective immediately. Among the items that will be removed: all-day breakfast, salads, parfaits, grilled chicken and chicken tenders. There could also be small changes to the way some other menu items are made.
“These are minor changes that will help us simplify operations, give us more time to keep the restaurant sanitized and make it easier for our employee’s to comply with the social distancing guideline,” a post on Facebook read.
It also said that decision was a national one and not made on the local level.
The post advised customers check menu boards to see which items were available.
McDonald’s restaurants across Wichita have remained open throughout the coronavirus pandemic for drive-through and delivery orders.
