A little Wichita beer festival this weekend will feature brews few will ever taste
There’s a mini beer festival happening this weekend at the Cotillion featuring beers very few will ever taste.
It’s called Test Batch ThrowDown, and it’s happening on Saturday. The event will start at 3 p.m. and will allow attendees to sample from 20 limited or tap room-exclusive beers made by Wichita Brewing Company, Hopping Gnome Brewing Company and Odell Brewing Co. out of Fort Collins, Colorado.
The beer sampling will be followed by a concert featuring local favorites Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy, Spirit of The Stairs and Kill Vargas.
A ticket good for the beer fest and concert costs $40 and will include a goodie bag with a tasting glass and 10 drink tickets. (You must be 21 to get one of those tickets.) The concert starts at 7 p.m. and tickets for the concert only — open to all ages — are $20.
There will be food sold onsite from Nancy’s A-Maize-N Sandwiches, and Noble House will have a poke station set up. For tickets, visit etix.com.
