Christmastime is tamale time, and Wichita restaurants are selling them by the dozen
Tamales are a treat year round.
But the hard-to-make, easy-to-eat delicacies are a big deal at Christmas, and they’re a staple of Mexican Christmas in particular.
In Wichita, several restaurants make tamales and sell them by the dozen or more during the holidays.
Here’s a list of some of the places where you can get tamales to serve at your Christmas or Christmas Eve gathering. Did I miss someone? E-mail me at dneil@wichitaeagle.com
