A list of Wichita restaurants thanking veterans with free meals on Veterans Day 2019
Veterans Day is always a crowded day at local restaurants. So many places around town like to thank members of the military for their service by offering free meals.
This year, Veterans Day is on a Monday, and once again, there are deals aplenty. Keep in mind that all the specials require a military ID, and most are offered to active duty and retired military members.

BJ’s Brewhouse, 7960 E. Kellogg: Free meal that’s $14.95 or less and a Dr. Pepper
Bonefish Grill, 10250 E. 13th St.: Free appetizer from select menu
Bricktown Brewery, 2142 N. Tyler, 2035 N. Rock Road: $10 off check plus a commemorative pint glass and $10 coupon for future visit. Offered Sunday and Monday

Freddy’s Frozen Custard, several Wichita locations: Free combo meal cards, which are valid through Nov. 30, will be distributed.
Golden Corral, 11006 E. Kellogg, 616 S. Ridge Road Circle: Veterans can get a free meal from 5 to 9 p.m.
Hangar One Steakhouse, 5925 W. Kellogg: Half off meals
Huddle House, 1735 W. 21st St: Free order of Sweet Cakes from now through Monday
Jimmie’s Diner, 3111 N. Rock Road, 1519 George Washington Blvd.: 25 percent off meals for military members in uniform, 10 percent off for those with IDs
