Hatman Jack, a man of many hats
It’s still two weeks away, but if you want free tickets to the Sixth Annual Amber Waves Beer Walk and Tasting Tour in Delano, it’s time to pay attention now.
I have two pair of tickets to give away to the event, a benefit for Starkey that happens from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 17, in the Delano District. It invites ticket holders to walk from business to business, sampling beer and food at each one. Among the stops: Bungalow 26, Hatman Jack’s, The Monarch, Melange Custom Jewelry, What’s Brewin’, Sweet Cheeks Boutique, Bell Carpet & Floors, All Things BBQ, Sugar Sisters Bakery and Bicycle X-Change.
Each will offer a beer sample, provided by LDF, as well as appetizers provided by local restaurants and caterers. Live bands will be performing along the way, and wine samples also will be available.
If you buy tickets, they’re $60 a person, and there are only about 50 left. The event usually sells out. You can get tickets at eventbrite.com.
If you want to win them, though, go to the Dining with Denise Facebook page and leave a comment on the post about the contest. Share the post to let your friends know about it. I’ll randomly draw a winner on Wednesday, May 8.
