East-side Dunkin’ Donuts to open early June at 21st and Greenwich

Wichita’s second Dunkin’ Donuts will open in just a couple of weeks, this one on the east side.

Franchisees and father/son Doug and Dan Day have chosen 11310 E. 21st St. N. for their east-side location. Construction is underway, and the store should open in early June, Dan Day said. It’s in a strip center in the Village at Greenwich development and sits near a PostNet and a Supercuts.

The duo opened its first Wichita store in December in the old Taco Bueno building at 333 S. West St. The Days have said they plan to develop seven stores in Wichita and two others in surrounding cities.

Another Dunkin’ Donuts is going into the new terminal at the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, too. The terminal also is expected to open in June.
