That one Thursday a year when people flock to Century II by the hundreds to feast on chicken etouffee, red beans and sausage, and bread pudding is just a few days away. And if you're lucky, you can win two free tickets to the event.

The Cajun Food Fest, an annual Thursday-night feature of the Wichita Riverfest, is this week, and ticket holders in attendance will get a container of chicken etouffee, red beans and sausage, rice, a roll and bread pudding with bourbon custard sauce for $10.

The event, a fundraiser for Goodwill Industries of Kansas, happens from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at Kennedy Plaza. The organizers have offered me two pair of tickets to give away. Want a pair?

Just go to the Dining with Denise Facebook page, look for the post about the Cajun Food Fest, and comment on it. I will randomly choose two commenters on Wednesday morning, and each will get two tickets.

If you want to throw my page a "like" while you're there, that is an approved action. Also, share the post with you friends. Unless, that is, you don't WANT your friends to thank you for helping them win tickets. If you want to buy tickets instead, you can do so at the event.

Disclaimer: You will have to have your own Riverfest button if you win the tickets, but on "Throwback Thursday," you can wear any current or past button to be admitted to the festival.
