First there was Mexican sushi. Now, there are Chinese burritos.

The new China Go XP opened over the weekend at the Plazzio, just in front of the Warren Theatre at 13th and Greenwich. The express restaurant, which sits in a brand new building between Cheddar’s and Freddy’s Frozen Custard, is the third China Go in Wichita. The first one opened in 2001 at 3700 N. Woodlawn, and the second opened in 2012 at 1230 S. Rock Road.

The new restaurant has added a fun new feature. Customers can get any entree or side item the restaurant serves rolled up into a burrito. The restaurant’s Facebook page is advertising a Kung Pao burrito, stuffed with rice and fried King Pao chicken. People are a little skeptical at first, a manager said, but once they try the Chinese burritos, they love them.

The new China Go XP is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
