If your true love loves food, drink and all things delicious, you’re lucky you live in Wichita. Local restaurants and bars all over town are offering special meals, drinks and deliveries for Valentine’s Day, which is on Wednesday.
If your true love does not love food, drink and all things delicious, perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the relationship.
Here’s a list of many of the specials being offered, which includes free stuff, one-price dinners and even a way to celebrate with the gals. (And one includes dinner for your doggie.) Make reservations now or sooner.

Special menus and dinner specials
Abuelo’s, 1413 N. Waterfront Parkway, 316-634-2230, and 452 S. Ridge Road, 316-946-1030: The Mexican restaurant is offering a Valentine’s promotion now through Feb. 14 that includes fajitas for two plus dessert for $32.99.
Augustino Brewing Company, 756 N. Tyler Road, 316-721-5554: This new brewery is putting on a day-after Valentine’s Day four-course dinner on Feb. 15. It’s $80 a person with paired cocktails or $40 a without. It’s offered from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 15. Register in person at the brewery.
AVI Seabar & Chophouse, inside the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview, 135 N. Waco, 316-262-3300: The restaurant is serving an $89-a-couple “sweetheart menu” that includes a lobster spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, choice of salad or soup, filet with 6-ounce lobster tail (or salmon, for Ash Wednesday observers), creamed potatoes and green beans, flourless chocolate cake and one glass of champagne or sparkling apple cider each. It’s available from 11 a.m. to midnight Feb. 14-17, and the regular menu will be available on each of those days except Feb. 14. Reservations are recommended.
*NEW* Bella Luna Cafe, 2132 N. Rock Road, 316-683-3700, and 2441 N. Maize Road, 316-613-3320: The restaurants will be serving from the regular dinner menu and are also offering a special four-course dinner for two that includes a glass of wine for each diner and is $69.95. The special is available from 4 p.m. to close Friday through Tuesday.
Bella Vita Bistro, 120 N. West St., 316-941-4500: The family-owned Italian restaurant will serve a special four-course meal on Feb. 14 that’s $50 a person. It will include a choice of appetizer, soup or salad, an entree and a dessert. Call for reservations.
Caesar’s Table, 125 N. Market, 316-946-5879: This buffet restaurant is offering a Feb. 14 Sweetheart Dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 that costs $50 a couple and includes choice of entree, salad and bread sticks, and choice of cheesecake or red velvet cake for dessert. Couples can bring their own bottles of bubbly. Call for reservations.
Chisholm’s American Beef & Ale House, inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport, 2098 S. Airport Road, 316-945-1966: This new hotel restaurant is offering a three-course Valentine’s Day menu that’s $49 a person and includes seared prawns, a smoked beef tenderloin and lemon sole, and dessert. It also includes a wine and beer pairing. Call for reservations.
Delano BBQ Co., 710 W. Douglas, 316-260-4950: The restaurant is offering three Valentine’s Day dinner options on Saturday, Feb. 17. One includes a full slab of ribs with sides, one is a salmon dinner, and the third is a barbecue sampler. All are $42.95 and include beer or fountain drinks, two chocolate-covered strawberries and a visit to a s’mores bar. It’s offered from 3 to 8 p.m. Reservations are required.
*NEW* Elderslie Farm, 3501 E. 101st St. North: A few tables are still available for this farm-to-table dinner series at Elderslie Farm. The Valentine's Day menu offers five courses for $58 a person, and wine pairings are $12 more. The dinner will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. For reservations, visit Open Table.
Fetch Bistro, 7718 E. 37th St. North, 316-927-2227: This recently-remodeled (by Gordon Ramsay!) restaurant is offering a steak or seafood dinner that also includes wine and dessert and a dog meal for $50 a couple or $25 a person. Call for reservations.
Fireside Grille, inside the Wichita Marriott, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive, 316-462-3178: The restaurant is offering a special three-course menu on Feb. 14 that varies in price depending on entree choice. All ladies will get a red rose, live music will be provided by Odyssey Band and everyone will get a glass of champagne. Call for reservations.
Georges French Bistro, 4618 E. Central, 316-831-1325: The restaurant will suspend its normal menu on Feb. 14 and serve a menu of holiday-appropriate specials, including raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, Chateau Briand for two and bananas Foster. Call for reservations.
Greystone Steak & Seafood, 9719 E. 21st St., 316-295-2636: The restaurant is offering a special Valentine's Day dinner for two through Feb. 19 that's $89.99 a couple and includes a shared tomahawk rib eye. Call for reservations.
The Hill Bar & Grill, 316-201-1190: This restaurant is offering a four-course meal for two for $40. It includes an appetizer, two entrees, two side salads and a specialty dessert. The bar is also offering $10 off any bottled wine. Call for reservations or visit www.opentable.com.
Hyatt Regeny Wichita, 400 W. Waterman, 316-613-6400: The Hyatt is offering a special menu from 5:30 to 10 p.m. through Feb. 18 that is $44 a person and offers soup, salad, choice of entree and dessert to share. Call for reservations.
The Kitchen, 725 E. Douglas, 316-928-2899: This restaurant in Union Station will offer a fixed-price meal Valentine’s Day. The meal will be three courses and costs $60 a couple. It will include a raspberry sorbet Champagne cocktail, a salad, choice of three entrees and choice of shareable dessert. Reservations are accepted.
Larkspur, 904 E. Douglas, 316-262-5275: The restaurant will be offering several menu specials on Feb. 14 as well as romantic drink specials. Jenny Wood will be performing. Call for reservations.
Hereford House, 1400 Terradyne Drive, Andover, 316-733-7800: The restaurant is offering a four-course dinner for two on Feb. 14 for $75 plus drink specials. Call for reservations.
*NEW* Lemongrass, 300 N. Mead, 316-226-9127: This Vietnamese restaurant is offering two special four-course dinners for two, one that's $40 and one that's $50. Both include choice of appetizer, salad, entree and dessert.
*NEW Lola's Bistro, 2146 N. Collective Lane, 316-613-2223: This new (and very romantic) restaurant is offering several specials for Valentine's Day, including oysters on the half shell, a trio of baby beets salad, and butter poached Maine lobster tail. Call for reservations or book online.
Mediterranean Grill, 335 S. Towne East Drive, 316-651-5599: The restaurant will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 14 and will offer a package for two that includes a bottle of wine, hummus, two side salads, choice of entree and dessert to share for $79.95. *NEW* Molino's Mexican Cuisine, 1064 N. Waco, 316-977-9336: This Mexican restaurant is offering a $50 meal for two that includes choice of guacamole or cheese dip, a chile en nogada plus a side, two margaritas or two glasses of wine and choice of chocoflan or tres leches cake. Noble House, 3238 E. Douglas, 316-351-5596: This Hawaiian restaurant is putting on a special Valentine’s Day Dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 14 that’s $54 a person. It will include four courses and sake. Call for reservations.
Oak & Pie, 2244 N. Greenwich, 316-768-6900: On Feb. 14, each table can get a decanter of house wine with a specialty pizza for $25.
Public at the Brickyard, 129 N. Rock Island, 316-263-4044: The restaurant is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu with several options on starting on Valentine’s Day and running through the weekend. They’ll also have special cocktails, desserts and live music from Tom Hoeffgen on Feb. 14. Call for reservations.
Siena Tuscan Steakhouse, inside the Ambassador Hotel, 104 S. Broadway, 316-440-5300: Chef Josh Rathbun has designed a three-course dinner for two that costs $125 a couple. It will be offered from from 4 to 10 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. An a la carte menu also will be available, and Roberto Bernardinello will perform all three nights. Reservations are encouraged.
Tanya’s Soup Kitchen, 1725 E. Douglas, 316-267-7687: The restaurant is offering a special five-course Valentine’s Day meal with wine pairings for $85 a person with a $5-a-head discount for parties of six or more. It’s available at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Reservations are required by calling and asking for Sarah or Jordan.
Twelve, 12111 W. Maple, 316-440-2812: This west-side restaurant is offering a three-course dinner for two from 4 to 10 p.m. Feb. 14-16. It’s $80 a couple, $40 a person, and includes salad, choice of entree and a dessert. Reservations recommended.

Wichita Brewing Co. & Pizzeria, 8815 W. 13th St. North, 316-440-2885, and 535 N. Woodlawn, 316-440-4885: The restaurants are offering a $40-a-couple special that includes any appetizer, two entrees, a dessert and two beers. The breweries will be tapping their Scicilia and barrel aged Seal Team Six beers as well.
Woodfire Grille, inside the Kansas Star Casino, Mulvane, 316-719-5148: On Feb. 14, the restaurant will offer a $48-a person meal that includes a 10-oz. filet, butter poached lobster tail, parsnip purée, roasted baby carrots and a glass of sparkling wine. Throughout February, it also is offering a $75 dinner for two with salad, beef Wellington and dessert. Call for reservations.

Country Kitchen, 915 E 53rd St. North, 316-832-9704: The restaurant is offering diners a free slice of double fudge chocolate cake with the purchase of any entree on Feb. 14.
Espresso to Go Go and Little Lion Ice Cream: These businesses are teaming up to offer Valentine’s Day deliveries. For a $12 fee plus the cost of the treats, you can have an Espresso to Go Go coffee and a Little Lion Ice Cream treat delivered to your Valentine. Garden Cafe at Botanica, 701 N. Amidon, 316-264-0448: This little cafe inside Botanica is offering a dozen chocolate-covered strawberries for $6 on Feb. 14, and anyone who makes a purchase that day will get $5 off a Botanica gift membership.
Great Harvest, 535 N. Woodlawn, 316-685-6455: This bakery and cafe is making red velvet cinnamon rolls now through Feb. 14. Call to make an order.
Hurts Donut Wichita: The local doughnut shop is taking pre-orders for chocolate-covered strawberry donuts and other Valentine’s-day themed doughnuts. They’re available throughout February by the dozen or half dozen. The shop also is offering deliveries from an unconventional cupid. *New* La Galette, 1017 W. Douglas, 316-267-8541: The bakery is, as usual, selling a large variety of heart-shaped cakes and other treats.
Milkfloat, 535 W. Douglas, 316-202-2113: This dessert restaurant is offering Feb. 14-only specials including vegan chocolate tarts with pomegranate gelée, 6-inch vanilla cakes filled with white chocolate mousse, turtle cheesecake bars and chocolate covered strawberries.
Monica’s Bundt Cake, 1328 E Douglas 316-630-9555: The bakery is taking orders for chocolate-covered strawberry bouquets until Tuesday, Feb. 13.
Hopping Gnome Brewing and Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria and Little Lion Ice Cream, Douglas and Hydraulic: These Douglas Design District businesses are teaming up from 5 to 9 on Tuesday evening for a collaborative night-before-Valentine’s event called “Galentine’s Day.” Piatto will be serving a special breakfast pizza, and Hopping Gnome will be offering live music and prizes. Plus, Little Lion will be serving waffles there from 7 to 9 p.m. And Aerial, the resale shop at at 1716 E. Douglas, will be keeping special evening hours and offering discounts.
