Wichita restaurant offering generous military discount for Fourth

At least half of the people who dine at the Meddys, the Mediterranean restaurant at 7906 E. Harry, are military personnel from nearby McConnell Air Force Base.

To thank them for their patronage – and for their service – owner Alex Harb is offering 50 percent off orders to all military personnel with ID on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at his restaurant on East Harry.

“That place is actually in business because of military personnel,” Harb said.

Meanwhile, Harb is having to close his new location at 2300 N. Greenwich. The floors need to be polished, and that can’t be done while customers are in the store. So Harb is closing the restaurant on Monday and Tuesday.
