Bricktown Brewery will open in the former Chapada Chophouse & Churrascaria space at 2142 N. Tyler on March 5.

But people with $10 tickets can try it out early at a special soft opening/fundraiser event happening March 2-4.

Starting on Thursday morning, people can begin buying tickets good for one free meal at the restaurant’s soft opening, which will happen from 11 am. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. March 2-4. Links to the radio stations selling the tickets will be available on the restaurant’s Facebook page on Thursday morning.

All of the proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Starting on March 5, the restaurant’s hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Bricktown Brewery is based in Oklahoma City, where it brews its own beer. Those will be shipped to the Wichita location, and the restaurant also will carry other beers brewed locally and regionally.

It also will use locally sourced ingredients to make burgers, artisan pizzas, salad and more. (Here’s a link to the menu.)
