Rap star Wiz Khalifa to perform at Intrust Bank Arena

Rapper Wiz Khalifa will headline a concert at Intrust Bank Arena on June 9.

Khalifa, best known for his Grammy-nominated song “See You Again” and hits like “Black & Yellow,” will perform as part of radio station Power 93.5’s Powerhouse Jam II. Also on the bill are Yo Gotti, Kevin Gates, Luke Nasty, Dreezy and XV.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday and will be $45, $55, $65 and $125. They’ll be available at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, at Select-a-Seat outlets, at www.selectaseat.com or by calling 316-755-7328.

Last year’s Powerhouse Jam concert, headlined by Lil Wayne, was the arena’s first hip-hop concert. It drew a crowd of about 6,000 people.
