Barry Manilow’s Wichita show not yet affected by hospitalization
Barry Manilow has not canceled his concert scheduled for Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena on Feb. 19, despite a recent hospitalization.
Manilow, who had surgery on Monday, performed Wednesday in Memphis but was rushed back to Los Angeles and hospitalized for complications from his surgery, according to a post on his Facebook page. He postponed his Thursday show in Highland Heights, Ky., and his show scheduled for Friday in Nashville. They’re being rescheduled.

“As of right now, our show is not affected and is still taking place as scheduled,” said Christine Pileckas, the Intrust Bank Arena’s director of sales and marketing.
The post said it was unclear whether Manilow would be able to attend the Grammys on Monday. He is nominated for his 15th Grammy Award for his latest album, "My Dream Duets.”
