Wichita area summer concert series set their schedules for 2025

The Bradley Fair Summer Concert Series notches the quarter-century mark when it kicks off June 5.

“It’s an incredible milestone,” Bradley Fair general manager Jessica Branning said of the 25th anniversary in a news release. “This series has become such a beloved piece of Wichita’s summer rhythm — and this year’s lineup is one for the books.”

The Thursday night series kicks off next week with Elton Dan and the Rocket Band, a Kansas City-based Elton John tribute act that has played nationwide as well as in China.

The free concerts are from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., with food trucks and Bradley Fair eateries providing goodies.

The rest of the schedule:

  • June 12: Lucky People, a Wichita cover band playing the ‘80s to current hits

  • June 19: The Canterberries, a female indie trio of lifelong friends who grew on Canterbury Road in KC

  • June 26: Josue Estrada Band, led by Wichita trumpeter-percussionist Estrada

  • July 3: Rudy Love and the Encore, Wichita indie-soul band led by Rudy Love Jr. on vocals and keyboards; fireworks will follow

Another summertime concert series has a bit of a name change. After years attached to KEYN, it’s now presented by all five of the Audacy radio stations in Wichita.

“After a successful turnout from last year’s KEYN Summer Concert Series, we wanted to bring all our Wichita stations together to amplify the summer fun,” said Becky Domyan, senior vice president and market manager. “We love engaging with our listeners and these events give us an opportunity to give back to our great community and connect with our loyal listeners in person.”

The concert space will be shared by Capitol Federal Amphitheatre in Andover and Naftzger Park in Wichita.
