‘Junk rock’ band Recycled Percussion to perform at Wichita’s Orpheum Theatre in October

Recycled Percussion, a band known for “junk rock” played on recycled instruments, will perform at Wichita’s Orpheum Theatre on Oct. 10, the theater announced Tuesday.

Recycled Percussion became a national phenomenon during several hit performances on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2009.

Tickets to the Orpheum show go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are $30 to $35 and will be available at Select-A-Seat outlets, at 855-755-7328 or at www.selectaseat.com. They also can be purchased in person at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, participating Dillons stores and plant employee clubs.
