Sorry, Bob Dylan fans. The legendary singer is not coming to Wichita in April despite information circulating online.

On Tuesday, Dylan announced that he was extending his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour with new spring dates, and several websites, including jambase.com and billboard.com, shared that an April 2 date at Century II would be included.

Later, the official Bob Dylan website shared this statement: “Some dates were previously published in error. We apologize and will post updates as shows are confirmed.” The tour tab on the website now shows dates only through March.

Dylan, 82, is not playing in Wichita, though, said Christine Pilekas, the director of booking for Intrust Bank Arena and Century II, both of which are managed by ASM Global.

“We were in talks for the show, and they were thinking about coming to Wichita, and at the end of the day, the routing changed,” she said. “At this time, I’m not sure where that date is or where that show is going.”

But it won’t be Wichita.

Dylan has performed in Wichita a few times during his career. The last time was Sept. 1, 2004, when he and Willie Nelson co-headlined a show at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

He also performed at Century II on Aug. 16, 2001, and on Oct. 31, 1991 , and at Henry Levitt Arena (now Koch Arena) on May 19, 1976.
