Country star Miranda Lambert will perform in Wichita

Miranda Lambert is returning to Wichita.
The country star announced her tour dates earlier this week, and Wichita was on the list. The announcement did not say where or when the concert would take place, but it would likely be Intrust Bank Arena.
Lambert previously performed there in April 2012 and was an opening act for Brad Paisley when he headlined the arena’s first concert when it opened in January 2010. She also appeared briefly on stage with husband Blake Shelton when he performed at the arena last year.
Christine Pileckas, the arena’s director of sales & marketing, said the arena could neither confirm nor deny that Lambert would be performing at the arena.
Lambert’s 2015 tour starts in January and will included opening act Justin Moore. Artists RaeLynn, Sunny Sweeney, Ashley Monroe and Danielle Bradbury also will perform at various stops on the tour.
