Singer James Taylor returning to Wichita, and a famous friend is joining him
James Taylor is returning to Wichita for the third time since Intrust Bank Arena opened in 2009, but this time, he’s bringing a friend.
Taylor, 69, will appear at the venue along with fellow legend Bonnie Raitt on May 24. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 2.
Taylor, who also appeared at the arena in May 2011 and in June 2014, is known for hits like “Carolina In My Mind,” “Sweet Baby James” and “Your Smiling Face.”
Raitt, 68, a 10-time Grammy winner, is known for her red hair and hits like “Something to Talk About” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”
Tickets to the show are $99 and $65 and will be available at www.selectaseat.com, by calling 316-755-7328 or at the Select-A-Seat box office at Intrust Bank Arena.
