Cinderella at the Cotillion

Hairband Cinderella, whose 1980s glam rock hits included "Nobody's Fool," "Shake Me" and "Somebody Save Me," are still together and will perform tonight at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg. Green Day lite

American Idiots, a Chicago-based Green Day tribute band, will perform on Saturday at Rock Island Live, 101 N. Rock Island. The show starts at 9 p.m., and admission is $6.

YoYos at Oeno

Smuggling YoYos, the popular cover band that plays only occasionally, will perform its energetic set (featuring rocked-out versions of everything from Snoop Dog to Britney Spears) at 8 p.m. Saturday at Oeno, 330 N. Mead. Admission is free.

Iron Man on the guitar

Michael "Iron Man" Burks, a blues guitarist and vocalist known for his long and intensely physical shows, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Boulevard, 900 George Washington Blvd. Tickets are $15 at the door.
