Hip-hop artist J. Cole coming to Wichita

Hip hop artist J. Cole announced Friday on Twitter (@jcolenc) that he’s coming to Wichita on March 15 as part of his Forest Hills Drive Tour. The Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg, confirmed the concert Friday.

Cole, a Jay Z protege, was nominated for best new artist at the Grammys in 2012. His first album, “Cole World: The Sideline Story,” was released in 2011 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. His other second and third albums, “2014 Forest Hills Drive” (2014) and “Born Sinner” (2013), also reached No. 1.

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $32 in advance and $35.50 the day of the show. Tickets are on sale now at thecotillion.com.
